Accessibility statement

We intend this site to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. That is a goal we test against, not a slogan we paste on an otherwise unusable page.

Business Insurance Brokers LLC is committed to making BusinessInsuranceBrokers.com usable by people who use keyboards, screen readers, zoom, and mobile browsers. The conformance target for this rebuild is Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

What we built for

  • A skip-to-main-content link as the first focusable control.
  • One H1 per page and a logical heading order after that.
  • Language set on the html element (en).
  • Visible focus rings on links, buttons, and form fields.
  • Labels programmatically associated with every quote-form control; errors announced with a live region.
  • Link text that names the destination (no “click here”).
  • Color pairings checked for AA contrast on navy, gold, cream, and body text. Gold is used as a background with dark text, or as large text on navy, not as small gold type on white.
  • Tap targets sized for touch on primary controls.
  • No motion beyond a short card hover; that hover is disabled when you prefer reduced motion.
  • Decorative header artwork hidden from assistive technology. We do not use emoji as icons.

Honest limitations

This is a first-wave static site. We do not claim a formal third-party WCAG certification. PDF loss runs or carrier forms you email us are third-party documents we do not control. If we add a map, video, or analytics later, those features will need their own accessible treatment and this statement will be updated.

If you hit a barrier

Email CommercialInsuranceAgency@gmail.com or call 800-351-9518 and tell us the page URL, the browser or assistive technology you use, and what went wrong. We respond to accessibility reports within two business days (Monday–Friday, Pacific time, excluding U.S. federal holidays observed by the office). If we cannot fix the page immediately, we will offer an alternative way to complete the same task — usually a phone submission or an emailed worksheet.
